Central Queensland University Australia Partial Undergraduate Scholarships, 2017

Central Queensland University is inviting applications for up to 100+ Equity Study Supplement Scholarships in Australia. These scholarships are available to pursue Bachelor programme.

The aim of Scholarships is to provide financial help to the students by giving following expenses: those expenses can include non-deferrable costs such as textbooks, internet connection, course/program specific resources and travel costs associated with compulsory residential schools and unpaid work placements.

Central Queensland University (alternatively known as CQ-University) is an Australian dual sector university based in Queensland. Its main campus is in North Rockhampton, Queensland. CQ-University began as the Queensland Institute of Technology (Capricornia) in 1967, and after two years under the name of the University College of Central Queensland, in 1992 became an official university named the University of Central Queensland.

  • Be a Commonwealth supported student at CQ-University
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or holder of an Australian Permanent Visa*
  • Not be receiving an Indigenous Commonwealth Scholarship
  • Not have received an Equity Study Supplement or Equity Accommodation Scholarship in Term 1, 2017
  • NOT receiving a Centre-link Relocation Scholarship or Residential Costs Option

Nationality: Australian Citizen; Permanent Resident; Permanent Humanitarian Visa; New Zealand Citizen are eligible for these scholarships.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirements: Applicants must have their previous degree.

English Language Requirements: Students need to demonstrate that they have a good level of written and spoken English the candidate should have a very good command over English language.

To apply for the Equity Study Supplement:

  • Read the Scholarship Guidelines to check for eligibility and documentation needed
  • Scholarships will open at 9am on Monday 29th May, 2017 and ALL applications must be submitted online by the closing date, 5pm, Friday 14th July 2017.
  • Providing correct supporting documentation and successfully completing all fields of the application is very important. This ensures effective and timely assessment of your application. Further information may be required to assess your application. These requests will be communicated direct to student email accounts (current students) or nominated email accounts for future prospective students who are not yet enrolled.

Fully Funded Scholarship for International Students at HIT Qingrui, China 2017

The new HIT Qingrui Scholarship is on offer for all international students to study in China. Non-Chinese nationals are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.

In order to encourage and attract more excellent International students to study at HIT, develop English-medium courses, Harbin Institute of Technology and Daqing Zhongyou Qingrui Petroleum Technology Co. Ltd. co-founded HIT-Qingrui Scholarship for International Students (hereinafter referred to as Qingrui Scholarship).

Study in USA? EducationUSA Opportunity Funds Program (OFP) for Undergraduate and Graduate Nigerian Students 2017

There are many determined and talented, low-income students in Nigeria who only require financial resources and access to information to better their educational future. For the 11th year, the United States Embassy, Nigeria seeks to identify academically qualified and highly motivated, low-income students in Nigeria to join the EducationUSA Opportunity Funds Program (OFP).

OFP’s mission is to assist talented and determined, low-income students who are good candidates for financial assistance from U.S. colleges and universities but lack the financial resources to cover the up-front cost of obtaining admission.

OFP works closely with students through regularly scheduled meetings and seminars to assist them throughout the application process to secure admission and scholarships to attend colleges and universities in the United States. OFP finances the cost of the application process, including registration fees for required standardized examinations and provides free membership to the U.S. EducationUSA Advising Center for its participants. OFP expects a sincere commitment from the students to give their energy and time to the program so that they may achieve their dreams of study in the United States.

Eligibility

Recipients must be full-fee-paying international students and may not be citizens of New Zealand or Australia, or holders of New Zealand residence class visas. Applicants must be completing, or have completed on or after 1 January of the year before the year of application, a university entrance-level qualification that permits entry into a UC undergraduate degree programme (see regulations for details). Such students who are undertaking, or have completed, a programme at the UC International College are eligible to apply. The scholarship may not be held by students who: (1) have already undertaken partial study in an undergraduate degree programme at a New Zealand tertiary institution; or (2) have applied for Transfer of Credit from a New Zealand tertiary institution to an undergraduate degree programme at UC. Undergraduate Summer School at King’s College London, UK

About

King’s College London Summer Programmes is offering 10 tuition fee scholarships to refugees who have been granted leave to remain in the United Kingdom to study on our 2017 Undergraduate Summer School. The Undergraduate Summer School is an academically intensive, exciting programme and there are a wide range of modules available. The modules take place during the day each weekday. The scholarship covers the tuition fee of £1,500 and the application deadline is 29 May 2017.

Who is eligible?

We are looking for excellent candidates who are passionate about thinking, learning and communicating, and keen on taking a first step back into education. Eligible students must:
