MasterCard Scholarship Program For African Students at Stanford University – USA

The MasterCard Foundation education initiative at Stanford University USA will provide comprehensive support to 20 talented but economically disadvantaged students from Africa over the next eight years. The Scholars Program will support five (5) undergraduates from Sub-Saharan Africa each year, according to Karen Cooper, director of financial aid.

The first students will enroll after selection. They will receive comprehensive support for tuition, travel and other educational costs.

Eventually the program will fund 20 students, with the MasterCard Foundation providing $6.5 million over eight years. Additionally, the foundation will provide funding for academic and social support through a graduate assistant position at the Bechtel International Center.

How to Apply

The application process is the same for all applicants regardless of citizenship or country of residence.

Submit the $90 non-refundable application fee with your First-Year or Transfer Common Application and Stanford Supplement. Be sure to submit both forms successfully because Stanford will not refund the application fee under any circumstances.

USA SCHOLARSHIPS: $30,000 Study In USA Scholarships at Boston – 2017

As an international student, you can apply to study in Boston, United States of America using the 2017/18 Gilbert and Marcia Kotzen Scholarship programme focused on supporting less privileged International students from Africa and other nations.

The Marcia Kotzen Scholarship is open to undergraduate students seeking admission into the ­Simmons College in Boston, USA; irrespective of their choice of courses. Application has commenced and is expected to end by December 1st.

The scholarship is awarded for the duration of a four-year period of full-time undergraduate study and supersedes any previously awarded merit scholarship.

International Foundation of Science (IFS) Individual Research Grants for Developing Countries 2018

This call is for early-career scientists in IFS (International Foundation of Science) eligible developing countries to apply for IFS Individual Research Grants and carry out research projects for a period of up to 3 years. An applicant must have at least an MSc/MA, be younger than 35 years of age (for men) or 40 years of age (for women) and must do the research project in an IFS eligible country.

Donald Trump Foundation First Acknowledgement Scholarship For Non-Developing Countries

The Donald Trump Foundation assists Non-Developing Countries in meeting their educational dreams by removing the financial barrier to further education. The Foundation has a long history of providing Graduates and Undergraduates’ Scholarships to Non-Developing Country residents seeking for higher education and currently has established four different scholarship programs in addition to endowed scholarships at several American universities.

Scholarship recipients are not selected by The Donald Trump Foundation Trustees or Staff. The Graduate and Undergraduate’s Education Scholarship Programs are administered by Scholarship Management Services, a division of Scholarship America, while the Nursing, Social Work, and Endowed Scholarships are administered by the respective institutions that were awarded grant funds by the United State Government to disburse as scholarships.
