The new Boost your talent, Scholarships is now available on offer at the University of Milan in Italy. International students are eligible to apply for this scholarship program.

The University of Milan is a public, multidisciplinary teaching and research institution that offers 8 Faculties, 2 Schools, 136 study courses, 31 Doctoral Programmes and 63 Specialisation Schools.

Students need to demonstrate that they have a good level of written and spoken English, as most of the programs are taught entirely in English,

Course Level: Scholarship is available for students enrolled in the first year of any degree program.

Study Subject: Scholarship is awarded in any cultural, artistic, sporting or professional field. Furthermore, International students enrolled at the University of Milan have the opportunity to learn Italian language while studying, by choosing one of our three intensive courses:

  • Beginners (to reach A1/A2 level)
    for PhD or International master programs students
  • Intermediate (to reach B1/ B2 level)
    for International Medical School and Medicine programs students
  • Intermediate (to reach B1/B2 level)
    for all International students enrolled in our degree programs in Italian.
  • There are many other Italian language and culture courses, on offer at our University, and among them: Summer courses held on Lake Garda; intensive courses – CALP (Cognitive Academic Language Proficiency), courses for Erasmus and Marco Polo

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:

  • A competition will soon be announced for 20 Exploit your talent scholarships for students enrolled in the first year of any degree program for the academic year 2016/2017 and who demonstrate particular talent in any cultural, artistic, sporting or professional field.

Nationality: International students are eligible to apply for this scholarship program.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirements: Applicants must have their previous degree.

Test Requirement: Candidates eligible for admission could be asked to take an interview or a test aimed at verifying their own qualification.

English Language Requirement: Students need to demonstrate that they have a good level of written and spoken English, as most of the programs are taught entirely in English.

Master Scholarships in Italy at Collegio Carlo Alberto for International Students, 2017

The Collegio Carlo Alberto is offering Master Scholarships in Public Policy and Social Change. Both Italian and foreign students are eligible to apply.

Collegio Carlo Alberto is a Private Research and Teaching Institution, located in the town of Moncalieri, northern Italy, in the province of Turin. The institution was created in 2004 as a joint initiative of the Compagnia di San Paolo and the University of Turin.

Its mission is to foster research and education in social sciences. President of the Collegio is Pietro Terna

Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.

Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing master’s programme.

Apply for Bocconi University Fully Funded Scholarships in Italy for International Students, 2017

Bocconi Graduate Merit Awards are now available for first year Graduate applicants for the 2017-2018 academic year based on their academic standing. International students are eligible to apply for this award at Bocconi University in Italy.

Bocconi University is a private university in Milan, Italy. Bocconi provides undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate education, in addition to a range of double degree programs, in the fields of economics, management, finance, law and public administration.

Course Level: Awards are available to pursue Graduate programme.

Study Subject: Awards are awarded in all subjects available at Master of Science program at Bocconi University.

Scholarship Award: The Merit Award includes a full tuition waiver, worth approximately € 12,700 per year. A limited number of students may also be offered free accommodation in one of the Bocconi Residences.

English language Requirements:

  • Students wishing to participate in one of the International Relations Office Programs must satisfy specific language requirements.
  • Language requirements vary from program to program.
    Please be sure to read all language requirements for EACH individual program (Exchange, Double Degree, International Internship, Campus Abroad etc.) to which you are interested in applying.
  • If a student does not hold one of the accepted International Language certificates or has not passed and registered the Bocconi language exam (with the minimum grade required), an ad hoc test will be organized by the International Relations Office.
  • In general, you do not need to take the ad hoc International Relations test if you hold one of the following:

a) An English and/or second language International Certificate recognized by our Language Center at the level requested by your program of interest.
When checking the validity of an International Certificate in order to apply to an International Program, you should just check the level and the score –voto in trentesimi as related to each International Certificate in the Score Conversion Table.
The Validità Certificazione column should not be considered or;

b) The requested English and/or second language level registered into your Bocconi Study Plan
or

c) A copy of your Bachelor or high school degree, proving that the program was taught entirely in English.

Study in Italy? The University of Pavia Fully Funded Scholarship for Developing Countries 2017/2018 (Application is Ongoing)

The Fund and the selection of the students are managed by a Committee composed by students, professors and officers of the University of Pavia. The Committee will select – among the applicants – the students who will receive a scholarship for the Academic Year 2017-2018. This is a call for applications currently opened to candidates from Developing Countries.

Type: Masters degree programme

Eligibility: 

  • Only the following candidates can apply for a scholarship: only citizens of a Developing Country classified as a low-income economy or as a lower-middle-income economy by the World Bank
  • Only students born on/after the 1st January 1982 can participate.
