College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: The main prerequisite for admission to the Master in Management is a sound academic background. You must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

Test Requirement: Four online levelling courses (Accounting, Finance, Statistics and Economics) are required to be satisfactorily completed after admission to the program, but prior to the start of the program. Alternatively, if you have completed the GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) with a score of 600 or higher (or a GRE with an equivalent score), the levelling courses are waived.

English Language Requirement: have the following minimum English language requirements:

  • 88 TOEFL internet-based
  • 230 TOEFL computer-based
  • 570 TOEFL paper-based
  • 5 IELTS

Study in Italy? The University of Pavia Fully Funded Scholarship for Developing Countries 2017/2018 (Application is Ongoing)

The Fund and the selection of the students are managed by a Committee composed by students, professors and officers of the University of Pavia. The Committee will select – among the applicants – the students who will receive a scholarship for the Academic Year 2017-2018. This is a call for applications currently opened to candidates from Developing Countries.

Study in Australia? University of Adelaide Fully-Funded International Scholarship, 2017/2018

The University of Adelaide offers Adelaide Scholarships International (ASI) to attract high quality overseas postgraduate students to areas of research strength in the University of Adelaide to support its research effort.

The scholarship is awarded for two years for a Masters degree by Research and three years for a Doctoral research degree (an extension is possible for doctoral programs only),

Eligibility:

In order to be eligible, applicants are required to have successfully completed at least the equivalent of an Australian First Class Honours degree (this is a four year degree with a major research project in the final year). All qualifying programs of study must be successfully completed.  Scholarships will be awarded on academic merit and research potential. Extra-curricular achievements are not considered.

International applicants Must Not hold a research qualification regarded by the University of Adelaide to be equivalent to an Australian Research Doctorate degree or, if undertaking a Research Masters degree, not hold a research qualification regarded by the University of Adelaide to be equivalent to or higher than an Australian Research Masters degree.

International applicants who Have Not provided evidence of their meeting the minimum English language proficiency requirements for direct entry by the scholarship closing date, or who have completed a Pre-Enrolment English Program to meet the entry requirements for the intended program of study, are Not eligible.

Candidates are required to enrol in the University of Adelaide as ‘international students’ and must maintain ‘international student’ status for the duration of their enrolment in the University. Citizens and Permanent Residents of Australia, and citizens of New Zealand are ineligible.

Apply for ADB Full Scholarships in University of Auckland, New Zealand

The ADB-Japan Scholarship programme aims to provide an opportunity for well-qualified citizens of ADB’s developing member countries to undertake postgraduate studies in economics, management, science and technology, and other development-related fields at participating academic institutions in the Asia-Pacific region. The University of Auckland is one of the participating academic institution.

David E.I Pyott Master of Surgery in Clinical Ophthalmology Scholarship at The University of Edinburgh, Scotland

Six online distance learning Masters scholarships are available in the field of Ophthalmology for students from Africa, South Asia, Caribbean Islands, Pacific Islands, Central and South America.

Award

Each scholarship will cover the tuition fee for the entire part-time programme of study as well as provide access to a broadband facility and a laptop.

The scholarship is funded by the generous support of the David E.I Pyott Foundation.

Eligibility

The scholarships will be awarded to students who are accepted for admission on to the online distance learning Master of Surgery (ChM) in Clinical Ophthalmology at the University of Edinburgh. Applicants should already have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh and should have firmly accepted that offer or be intending to do so. Applicants should be advanced trainee ophthalmologists or independently practicing ophthalmologists.

Criteria

The scholarship will be awarded broadly on the basis of academic merit. Candidates must have, or expect to obtain, a UK first class or 2:1 Honours degree at undergraduate level or the international equivalent.

Fully Funded Development Leadership Scholarships at Manchester University UK, 2017

The Global Development Institute offers an array of funding opportunities, including strategic use of our own resources.

The Global Development Institute (GDI) is pleased to announce the availability of nine scholarships for overseas applicants, providing full tuition fee waivers for on-campus Masters programmes commencing in September 2017.

Eligibility for the scholarships is as follows:

  1. Applicants must already hold an unconditional offer for an eligible Masters programme (please see box below for relevant Masters programmes for each scholarship).
  2. Applicants must be a national of and resident in a DAC-listed least developed, other low-income or lower-middle income country. The full list of eligible countries can be found below.
  3. Applicants for international scholarships must not have previously studied in an OECD country.
  4. Applicants must hold a First Class Honours bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and an overall score of 6.5 in IELTS (or similar exam), with 6.5 in writing and no other subsections below 6.0.

Study in China? Apply for The Chinese Government Youth Excellence Masters Program Scholarships, 2017

In other to promote the mutual understanding and friendship between China and other countries, and to provide education opportunities to the youths worldwide who enjoy good potentials in their career development, the Chinese Government established the “Scholarship for Youth of Excellence Scheme of China– Master Program (YES CHINA)” with the aim of providing financial support to the outstanding youth coming to China to pursue a Master’s degree.

For the academic year 2017/2018, the Ministry of Education, P. R. China will entrust 7 leading Chinese universities such as Peking University with 8 Master’s degree programs, namely The Master of Laws (LL.M.) Program in Chinese Law, International Program on Master of Public Health (IMPH), Master of International Economic Cooperation, Master of China Studies, The LL.M Program in International Economic Law, MBA Program, AIIB Master of International Finance, Master of One-Belt-Road Sustainable Infrastructure Engineering. The programs duration will be one year or two years (1+1), and will be open to applicants from 56 developing countries.

Enrollment Quota, Program Duration and Medium of Instruction:

  • A one-year full-time Master’s degree program
  • 30-35 students per class
  • Academic year from September, 2017
  • Courses all taught in English

 Scholarship Coverage:

  • 1. One-year Program
  • Total Amount: 200,800 RMB per year for each student, covering:
  •  Exempted fees: registration fees, tuition fees, laboratory experiment fees, internship fees, and fees for basic learning materials.
  •  On-campus accommodation.
  •  Living Allowance (96,000 RMB per year for each student).
  •  One-off settlement subsidy after registration (3,000 RMB for each student).
  •  Comprehensive medical insurance.
  •  A one-way air ticket to China upon registration and a one-way air ticket back from China to the student’s home country after completion of the study.
  • 2. Two-year Program (1+1 studies) Scholarship for the first academic year is the same as One-year Program. In the second academic year, students will do their thesis back in their home countries and the dissertation defense in China, while the scholarship will only cover one round-trip ticket for dissertation defense.

Qualifications:

Qualifications for an eligible applicant include:

  • Healthy both physically and mentally; not over 45 years old (born after September 1, 1972).
  • A bachelor or higher degree, at least 3 years’ work experience, some educational or professional experience in a field relative to that of the program applied.
  • Working in a government agency, company or research institute, and being a Section Director or Chief of Office, a senior manager, or excellent in scientific researches.
  • Good English language proficiency, able to follow English-taught courses well. Minimum requirements for reference: IELTS (Academic) total score 6.0, or TOEFL Internet score 80.
  • Having a strong development potential in his/her career, and willing to promote the mutual cooperation and exchanges between China and his/her home country.
